GolfGiftPicks terms of use: reading our guides and practicing safely
In effect since
These terms in four lines
- Our guides are general information, not professional or medical advice.
- Our safety notes point to their sources; the maker's instructions come first.
- No store link earns us anything yet.
- Quote a short passage with a link; don't copy a whole guide.
Using GolfGiftPicks
By using GolfGiftPicks you agree to these terms, which apply to every page. If you don't accept them, please leave the site.
What a GolfGiftPicks gift guide is, and isn't
Our guides sum up what owners report in public reviews and comments, with the specs makers publish. They are general information, provided as is.
We don't run lab tests or hands-on trials. A guide is one input to your decision, not professional advice; how we build them is in how we pick.
Golf safety at home and on the course
The CDC's home fall-prevention checklist suggests keeping walkways clear, so roll a mat out where people don't walk and store it after practice.
Follow the space and setup the maker states, and check the ceiling height before a full swing indoors.
Read the eye-safety instructions in the maker's manual, including the laser class it states, before first use.
The US National Weather Service's lightning advice is "When thunder roars, go indoors": no gear on our lists makes it safe to keep playing.
No medical or fitness advice
Training aids, drills and swing tips are for practice, not treatment; nothing here is medical, physical therapy or fitness advice. If practice causes pain, stop and ask a doctor. A guide that mentions a health or safety point names its source.
Prices and availability
We don't print prices; a store link shows today's price on the store's page. Models get renamed, revised or discontinued, so a recorded spec may not match what is sold: check before you buy.
Store links
Store links open the store; no link earns us anything yet, and nothing changes how picks are ranked, as our disclosure explains.
Quotes from golfers
A quote in quotation marks is one owner's own words and belongs to its writer; a summary of many owners is paraphrased and says so. We keep each quote's source on file and honor removal and correction requests through our contact page.
Our text, and other brands' names
Our text, lists and design are ours: quote a short passage with a link back, but don't copy a whole guide.
Product and brand names, such as Titleist and Pro V1, belong to their owners. Naming or ranking a product doesn't mean its maker endorses GolfGiftPicks or is connected with it.
Links to other sites
We link to stores and makers so you can check prices and specifications. We aren't responsible for their content, availability, prices or privacy practices.
Liability
We work to keep every guide accurate, but we can't promise a page is complete, current or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for a purchase, an injury or a loss that follows from using this site. The decision to buy, and how you use what you buy, stays yours.
Changes and questions
When these terms change, we update this page and its "In effect since" date, and the new text applies from that day. Questions go to [email protected].
