Questions

How our golf reviews work

Still stuck on a gift? Ask us
Why don't your reviews have star ratings?

A star score hides the catch. Each review ends on a verdict in words, such as "Good, with a catch", and says who should skip the product.

Do you test the products you review?

No. We read owner reports from months of use, in long reviews, forums and buyer reviews, and check the maker's own specs. We say so on every review.

How do you choose what to compare?

We compare products golfers and gift buyers actually weigh up against each other, such as the Pro V1 and the Pro V1x, and only on the points owners and makers discuss.

We sum up owner reports and makers' specs: no lab tests, no paid placements, no prices. How we pick
